I have spent many years as a working artist creating a wide portfolio of work during this time. I particularly enjoy teaching and the very positive outlook that the creation of something from nothing gives to those who believe that they cannot draw or paint or create in an artistic way. I do not believe that I teach people to draw. It is my belief that I teach people to see and that the confidence to draw then comes from the new found ability and understanding that they have gained from seeing things in a different light. This is a fantastic and rewarding experience for people and for me. Art allows people to switch off from the outside world and focus on all the positive things that you can gain from creating something which will always be yours and a part of you, something which is both personal and enduring and which you can enjoy and share with others. In addition to the above I have exhibited my paintings in a number of locally held art exhibitions and have undertaken a number of private commissions for paintings.
